Pri tem je alpska kultura slovenstva v dominantnem diskurzu pogosto ustoličena v obliki nevidne entitete, ki prežema slovensko kulturo in družbo na domala vseh ravneh – kot opojna vlaga napaja skrite kotičke sleherne slovenske kamre in hkrati kot kaplja polzi po najbolj vidnih panojih slovenstva. Pri tem pa si tako na družbeni kot na kulturni ravni še vedno nismo enotni – ali takšna kaplja predstavlja vodo, ki hrani nacionalni imaginarij, ali pa jo je potrebno enostavno pobrisati, ker kazi plakat, ki ga bomo jutri zamenjali z novim in lepšim.
