Takšna zastavitev avtorju omogoči temeljit pregled klasičnih in sodobnih virov, ki jih izčrpno in korektno povzame ter predstavi v novi luči. Tako lahko za izvirno štejemo njegovo razčlenitev in sistematizacijo problematike menedžmenta človeških virov v procesu internacionalizacije, ki jo poda v četrtem poglavju. To pa še izostri v petem, kjer opazuje menedžerje človeških virov ter njihove vloge in kompetence.

Za izvirni prispevek knjige k znanju na področju menedžmenta človeških virov lahko štejemo poleg nove sistematizacije problematike mednarodnega menedžmenta človeških virov predvsem ugotovitve izvirnega empiričnega proučevanja o diferenciaciji ter naraščanju pomena vlog in kompetenc menedžerjev človeških virov v procesu internacionalizacije podjetji. Te ugotovitve imajo lahko splošen pomen ob siceršnjem upoštevanju konteksta, na kar v monografiji opozarja tudi avtor sam. Delo obravnava tudi vrsto drugih vprašanj s področja upravljanja človeških virov in tako bogati fond znanja na tem področju.
