Cases of Science-Industry Cooperation in Slovenian Food and Chemical Industries / CIR Analyses 1 « Nazaj
The publication analyses the science-industry cooperation in Slovenia, the main characteristics of this cooperation, legal, institutional and policy framework for this cooperation, the main motivation behind on one and the other side, the problems and obstacles for cooperation. The analysis is based on the assessment of different policy papers, study of relevant documents on innovation and R&D policy in Slovenia, as well as on specially prepared eight case studies from food and chemical industry. In the case studies, both partners in cooperation, science (public R&D institution or higher education research unit) and a corresponding partner from the industry, have been interviewed. The paper also provides suggestions as to what should be done on firm and government level to intensify the science-industry cooperation in Slovenia.
